This is a chart for a woman who has just come off the pill. CCL guidelines recommend abstinence during phase one, or putting it another way, there is no phase one and phase two starts with day one. The messages of the Fertility Monitor prohibit coitus on days 1-4, so she is effectively in phase two although I deduct 4 points according to the established ground rules . The Life Cycle system identifies the days 1-6 as infertile which could get her into trouble. There was no way to enter the fact that this woman was "post pill" in the Life Cycle system so I assume they have no appropriate way of handling the special case of a "post pill" woman. The Fertility Monitor asks this important question when the woman first signs on and uses the answer in special calculations.
